Niskayuna Farmers Market
Niskayuna High School
July 11th - October 17th, 2026
8:30am - 12:30pm
The Niskayuna Farmers Market has been building community in Niskayuna since 2019 when it was established by the grassroots effort of community volunteers who continue to operate the Market today.
The seasonal outdoor market runs every Saturday, 830 am – 1230 pm, mid-July through mid-October and typically features 15-20 local farmers and vendors that offer fresh local produce, custom baked goods, artisanal products, unique crafts, and more. The spacious setting in the front parking lot of Niskayuna High School provides convenient parking and offers ample green space for the Market’s family lawn games and activities. The Market encourages and features local talent by providing free entertainment by musicians and artists. Throughout the season the Market offers special events and highlights non-profit organizations that support the health and wellness of our community through tabling opportunities. The Market participates in the Farmer’s Market Nutrition Program (FMNP) for underserved women and children and eligible senior citizens to help address food insecurity in our community.

Our mission is to connect local growers, food makers, and crafters with customers and build community by creating a vibrant destination for shopping, socializing, and learning.
We will accomplish this by focusing on the following key areas:
Provide customers with access to fresh, locally grown produce, locally made food products, and locally created crafts.
Provide a full market experience by bringing people together in a welcoming, accessible, and engaging atmosphere.
Increase awareness of resources provided by local community organizations and town services and initiatives by offering a space for sharing information.
To support the economic viability of local growers, producers, and entrepreneurs, and contribute to a broader, thriving Niskayuna community.
To promote health and healthy choices for all residents through access to healthful foods and information.
